Terms of service

Last updated 17 August 2026

1. What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the website https://www.linefeed.be, which is the brand site of Linefeed. It presents the business and its products. It is not a shop: no order can be placed and no payment can be made on this site.

Every purchase is made on the site of the product concerned or in an app store, and is governed by the terms presented there at the point of sale. Where those terms and these differ, the terms shown to you at the point of sale apply to that purchase.

2. What the business sells

Linefeed sells software subscriptions and credit packages for its own products. Credit packages are prepaid units that are consumed as you use a product's metered features.

The products, each on its own site:

  • Brainhurricane — https://brainhurricane.ai
  • SignalLock — https://signallock.ai
  • Kaisa — https://kaisa.one
  • Home Lab 21 — https://homelab21.linefeed.be

Some products are also offered in the Apple App Store and in Google Play. Nothing is sold on https://www.linefeed.be itself.

3. Where you buy, and from whom

All purchases happen on the product sites and in the app stores. Who sells to you — the merchant of record — depends on the channel:

  • On the product sites: the trader named in the business details below is the merchant of record and the seller. Payments are processed by Stripe. The business accounts for any tax due on these sales itself.
  • In the app stores: Apple and Google are the merchant of record and sell to you under their own terms. Linefeed uses RevenueCat as the subscription layer behind those purchases. Billing, receipts, refunds and cancellation of a store purchase are handled by the store you bought from.

4. Prices and currency

Prices are shown at the point of sale — on the product site's checkout or on the store listing — with an explicit currency, before you commit to the purchase. No price is stated on this brand site, because nothing is sold here.

Because the business is registered under the Belgian special scheme for small enterprises, no Belgian VAT is charged on its own sales. Where a store is the merchant of record, that store applies whatever tax the buyer's country requires.

5. Digital services, digital content, and your consent

A subscription and metered credit use are supplied as a digital service. A download or a generated file you keep is digital content delivered without a physical medium. The two carry different withdrawal rules, set out in full in the refund & cancellation policy.

At the product checkout, before performance begins, you are asked for your express consent to start immediately and to acknowledge that, for digital content delivered without a physical medium, your right of withdrawal lapses once performance has begun. That consent and acknowledgment are captured and recorded by the product checkout, not by this site.

6. Refunds and cancellation

Your statutory rights, the pro-rated refund for services started early, the rules for subscriptions and the rules for app-store purchases are set out in the refund & cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use of this site

This site is offered as it is, for information. You may read it, link to it and quote it with attribution. You may not scrape it for the purpose of harvesting contact details, nor attempt to disrupt the service that hosts it. The text, images and marks on this site remain the property of their owners.

8. Privacy

How this site, the support mailbox and invoicing handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy. Each product publishes its own privacy policy on its own domain.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any purchase from Linefeed are governed by Belgian law. This choice of law applies without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence: if you are a consumer, you keep every protection that law gives you and that cannot be set aside by agreement.

Disputes may be brought before the competent Belgian courts. A consumer may also bring proceedings before, and be sued only before, the courts of the country in which they are resident, where the applicable rules of jurisdiction so provide.

10. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution

Please raise a complaint with the business first, by email or by post — the details are in the small print at the foot of this page. Most matters are settled there.

If that does not resolve it, a consumer in Belgium may bring the dispute to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst), Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, Belgium — https://consumentenombudsdienst.be. The business will answer any request it receives from the Consumer Mediation Service and will take part in a mediation that the Service opens. It does not commit in advance to any other alternative dispute resolution body, and taking part in mediation does not affect your right to go to court.

There is no link here to the European ODR platform: that platform was shut down on 20 July 2025 and the duty to link to it has been repealed.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the business changes. The version published here at the moment of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase; the date at the top of this page says when this version was published.
